Howdy, Lucas here to share with you our first family adventure outside the house.
Dad said he wanted to get out and find some hippies and farmers. Viola! Let's take the team on a farmer's market adventure!
This was the first trip that The Goo and Squeak had together. With great care, their Mom packed a big bag of stuff (in case the entire crew were to be shot into a black hole or something).
"Diapers," said Mom.
"Check," Dad replied.
"Fruit strips..."
"Check."
"Binkies..."
"Got one in my pocket, and two in the bag. Check."
"Sippy cup....where's his sippy cup?!"
"He's got it in his hand! Jeeze. It's like John and Kate Plus Eight in here! Let's go!"
"Okay, but, diapers?"
"Check, check, check! I'm strapping in The Goo."
Within minutes, we were ready!
Cameron had to take a sleeping pill. He doesn't like to travel yet.
"Three......two.......one - BLAST OFF!!!!
Before we could hit the market, we had to find a docking station that had food. Cameron voted for a little cafe downtown that has french toast - or FREEDOM TOAST, as I like to call it.
After a tasty meal of syrup and dough, we took a little stroll through the herb-grower's paradise.
What a delight! Blueberries and peaches! The tomato line was exceptionally long. Dad told the people waiting in line that he saw the seller buying the boxes of tomatoes in the back dock of the grocery store and that they were probably chock full of salmonella. One lady left the line!
Then, on our way out, a choo-choo train stopped by!
It was quite a trip. But, Cameron and I decided that it was time to go home.
Mom and Dad listened as we explained how tired we were...

Ohmygoodness--the question, "What were we thinking?" has been asked for generations. At least my generation and yours.........they are adorable, of course! I'll bet you can not wait for a 7 hour trip to Nashville! I'm really wanting to see Lucas and Cameron together. Love, Grandma
Oh gosh! Maybe I do want to stay pregnant for a few more days! :) (Not really).
I love how in the video, the kids are crying, Lucas is throwing things, and Toby is laughing. Makes me proud to call you my friend.
